Eva Green films a scene for her television series Penny Dreadful while in the snow on Tuesday (September 23) in Dublin, Ireland.

It looks like the 34-year-old actress may have found a co-star for her upcoming movie Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, which is based on the the best-selling novel of the same name by author Ransom Riggs.

Asa Butterfield is reportedly in talks to play the lead role while Eva will take on the title character, according to TheWrap. Tim Burton will be directing.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Imaginary Children is about a teenager named Jacob who follows clues to a mysterious island searching for answers after witnessing his grandfather's bizarre and horrific death.

Eva Gaëlle Green (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈɡʁeːn];[1] born 6 July 1980)[2] is a French actress and model. She started her career in theatre before making her film debut in 2003 in Bernardo Bertolucci's controversial The Dreamers. She achieved international recognition when she appeared in Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven (2005), and portrayed Vesper Lynd in the James Bond film Casino Royale (2006). In 2014, she played Artemisia in the 300 sequel, 300: Rise of an Empire, and Ava Lord in Frank Miller's and Robert Rodriguez's Sin City sequel, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. She is currently starring in Showtime's Penny Dreadful.
